Gollancz Festival 2015

Joanne (along with many other authors) is taking part in the Gollancz Festival 2015 which this year is taking place at Waterstones in both Manchester and London!!

The events in Manchester Deansgate, 16 October 6–9pm, and London Piccadilly ,17 October 2–6pm and 18th October 12noon-3pm, will have two unique strands of action-packed programming, followed by a group signing session including all participating authors. Each attendee will receive a goody bag with some spectacular exclusives.

 Joanne’s panel events are:

Friday – Manchester: 

6.45-7.15pm – Detectives vs. demons vs. the apocalypse vs. space soldiers – Ben Aaronovitch; AJ Dalton (mod); Joanne Harris; Joe Hill; Richard Morgan – Room 1

7.30-8.00pm – These aren’t my shoes: writing outside your own experience – Ben Aaronovitch (mod); AJ Dalton; Joanne Harris; Joe Hill; Richard Morgan – Room 2

Saturday – London:

3.15-4.45pm – Balloon debate; whose literary hero should be thrown out first? – Mark Alder; AK Benedict (mod); Paul Cornell; Joanne Harris; Adam Roberts – Room 2

5-5.30pm – Stranger than history: the real history that inspired their fiction – Mark Alder; AK Benedict; Paul Cornell (mod); Joanne Harris; Adam Roberts – Room 1

Sunday – London:

12.15-12.30pm – Joanne Harris debates the importance of writers possessing self-discipline in a discussion with Gollancz editor, Marcus Gipps
