Runelight Competition
(closing dates: 1st November 2011, 1st December 2011 and 1st January 2012)

Last time we had a fanfic/fanart competition, many of you impressed me with your creativity and imagination. Now I’d like to issue another Runemarks challenge. I’m calling on readers of all ages to make a fan video to help spread the word on Runelight.

It can be anything you like; animation, film, Sim, a song, a story, a poem, or just a bunch of your friends caught on your mobile phone, saying how much they like the book and urging people to buy it!

I’ll announce the first winner on November 1st, as previously announced. There are now two further chances for you to enter. There will be a second deadline of December 1st, after which I will announce the second winner. After that, there will be a third deadline of January 1st, when I will announce the third and final winner.

So if you've already sent your entry in and have another idea, there is still time to make another video and enter again!

All three prize-winners will get a RUNELIGHT goodie bag, including a unique silver rune pendant from The Silver Bough. http://www.thesilverbough.com/index.shtml

 

All you need to do is:

1. Create your entry (there’s no maximum or minimum length, but try not to go over 5 minutes or so).

2. Put it up on YouTube.

3. Send me a link at: runelight@joanne-harris.co.uk

NB: Entries must be yours alone, and not infringe any copyright material (music, etc), though you are welcome to use characters or scenes from Runemarks!

Just remember, there’ll be kids watching…
